(Web Desk): Punjab Police has deported over 32000 illegal foreign nationals amid heightened border security measures across the province.

Punjab Police has intensified operations against illegally residing foreign nationals across the province in view of the current border security situation.

According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Police, a total of 32588 illegal Afghan nationals and other foreign residents have been deported from Punjab, including Lahore.

Authorities said 90 individuals are currently present at different holding points. They will be deported after completion of legal formalities.

Official data shows that among those deported are 12273 men, 6661 women, and 13654 children. The figures also indicate that 10419 deportees possessed residence documents, 11098 held Afghan Citizen Cards, while 11071 were staying in the country illegally without valid documentation.

Police officials confirmed that security has been placed on high alert across the province. Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Karim directed all units to ensure the complete removal of illegal foreign residents and maintain strict monitoring.

Authorities stated that operations will continue to identify and process individuals lacking valid legal status. Law enforcement teams are coordinating with relevant departments to verify documents and complete deportation procedures in line with regulations.

Officials emphasized that the crackdown aims to strengthen internal security and enforce immigration laws effectively.
