Chaman (Web Desk): At least seven people lost their lives when a gas cylinder exploded inside a house in the Torpal area of Chaman, including five children, police confirmed.

According to initial reports, many residents, including women and children, had gathered at the house where lassi was being distributed. The sudden explosion turned the gathering into a scene of chaos and panic. Gas cylinder explosion kills seven, including five children, and injures 25.

Police said a 20-kilogram gas cylinder kept in the kitchen exploded with force, causing several rooms of the house to collapse. The blast left 25 people injured.

Rescue teams and police quickly reached the spot. The bodies and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and medico legal procedures.

A bomb disposal squad was also called to examine the site and determine the exact cause of the explosion.

The tragic incident has left the local community in shock, especially as most of the victims were children.
