The move has raised serious concerns about rising Islamabad crime as Islamabad police made a key development in the murder case of businessman Aamir Safdar Awan. Terrorism sections have now been added to the case to strengthen legal action.
Police presented the accused in the District and Session Courts Islamabad for physical remand. The court approved 9, 9 days physical remand for the suspects.
The hearing was conducted by Anti-Terrorism Court judge Abualhasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain. Prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain appeared in court during the proceedings.

The prosecutor argued that earlier the suspects were given 13 days remand. He added that Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act has now been included in the case.
He further requested 20, 20 days remand for further investigation of the accused. The prosecution had requested physical remand for all five suspects.
The case of Aamir Safdar Awan murder has been registered at Shahzad Town Police Station. Police say more investigation is needed to uncover full details.
