(Web Desk): The Supreme Court returned the petition seeking hospital transfer of the PTI founder after raising objections, stating no case was currently pending for action.

The Supreme Court has returned the application seeking transfer of the PTI founder to a hospital after raising objections, saying that no active matter was pending for immediate proceedings.

Lawyers Sardar Latif Khosa and Naeem Panjutha appeared before Chief Justice Yahya Afridi in court to argue the petition.

During the hearing, Latif Khosa requested that the application be fixed for hearing. The Chief Justice responded that the petition had already been returned with objections and clarified that other related applications would remain pending until further orders. He stated that no application was currently available for the court to proceed with.

Khosa argued that they had filed a request for urgent hearing and claimed that the court had earlier ordered medical treatment for the PTI founder. The Chief Justice clarified that no formal order had been issued by the court; instead, the government had given assurances regarding medical examination.

Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan remarked that he had known the lawyer since 1992 and indicated awareness of the arguments being presented.

The bench advised the lawyer to meet the registrar regarding objections and obtain a copy of the returned petition before approaching the court again if necessary.

Khosa questioned why they had not been informed earlier about the order returning the petition.

The court maintained that procedural requirements must be followed before further action can be taken.
