LAHORE (Web Desk): The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has recommended making 10 Sindh High Court (SHC) judges permanent and extended Constitutional Benches’ tenure, signaling key changes in the judicial setup.

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on Tuesday recommended that 10 additional judges of the Sindh High Court (SHC) be confirmed as permanent judges. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi.

According to a statement issued by the Supreme Court (SC) after the meeting, the commission approved the confirmations by a majority vote. It said the decision came after reviewing data forms, background details, and evaluation material of the judges.
