Addressing the Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan Trilateral Summit in Lachin, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev said that Pakistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan are bound by a common history and culture, and the three countries are moving forward together to achieve common goals.
Announcing the investment, he said that Azerbaijan will invest $2 billion in Pakistan and is reviewing investment projects.
He said that Turkey and Pakistan provided us with full support in the war in 2020. We are promoting partnership with Pakistan and Turkey in various sectors, including defense. There are vast possibilities for cooperation in the defense sector between the three countries. Cooperation in the defense sector is important for regional stability. We also want to work with Turkey and Pakistan in the tourism sector.

President Ilham Aliyev said that the Pakistan-India tension was extremely disturbing for us, that conflicts should be resolved peacefully, and that Azerbaijan expressed full solidarity with Pakistan in the recent war between Pakistan and India.
Addressing the trilateral meeting, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that this is the second trilateral meeting of Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan. I congratulate Azerbaijan on its Independence Day. I am sure that a new era of development and prosperity will begin in the liberated areas of Azerbaijan.
He said that the relations between the three countries are based on mutual respect and trust, and that the three countries are keen to strengthen the strategic partnership. The ceasefire between Pakistan and India is a source of satisfaction. He hopes that the ceasefire between Pakistan and India will be permanent. He appreciates the wise leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and others in the Pakistan-India tension.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan further said that our region is strategically very important, we must work together to achieve common goals, children are being brutally killed in Gaza, we will stand against those who destroy the peace of the region.
