(Web Desk): The United States has announced that applications are open for the MCW Young Leaders Fellowship Program 2026, inviting international students, including those from Pakistan.

The fully funded exchange and leadership program by MCW Global is open to international participants, including Pakistani students, aged 18 to 26 who are working on community projects in education, health, and economic security.

The year-long fellowship aims to prepare young people to bring positive change within their communities through leadership development, global citizenship, and project-based learning.

Financial Coverage

The fellowship covers:

  • International economy-class flights for overseas participants
  • Domestic flights within the United States
  • Accommodation from July 20 to July 30, 2026
  • Three meals per day during the program
  • Round-trip travel between New York and Burlington, Vermont
  • Local transport to and from JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark airports

Expenses such as passport and visa fees, and personal in-country travel, are not covered.

About the Fellowship

Organized by MCW Global, a New York-based non-profit, the program begins with a community needs assessment, followed by virtual training and an in-person leadership program in July 2026.

Participants will then work on implementing local action plans over ten months under the mentorship of MCW alumni. The fellowship focuses on honesty, compassion, and accountability as key principles for leadership and social change.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be 18–26 years old by June 1, 2026
  • Show commitment to improving their community
  • Identify an issue in education, health, or economic security
  • Be fluent in English
  • Commit to completing the full fellowship period
  • Have access to email and the internet
  • Be eligible for a U.S. visa
  • Submit the completed application before the deadline
