The University of Exeter has announced applications for the 2026 Hornby Trust Scholarship, offering fully funded postgraduate study for experienced English-language teachers from low- and middle-income countries.
The scholarship provides full tuition coverage, a minimum £15,500 living stipend, and paid return airfare, making it one of the most comprehensive funding packages available for educators pursuing advanced studies in Europe.
The programme is aimed at experienced English-language teachers committed to improving teaching standards in their home countries. For 2026, Exeter will award up to ten fully funded places in its MEd TESOL programme, beginning in September.
