QUETTA (Web Desk): The Education Testing Council, under the Higher Education Commission (HEC), has postponed the Law Admission Test scheduled for November 9, 2025 in Quetta district.

The decision comes amid current legal and administrative conditions. The authorities said a new date will be announced later. The postponement was decided after the government of Balochistan announced the temporary enforcement of Section 144 in Quetta for 15 days.

At the same time, Section 144 is being expanded in Punjab to maintain law and order and protect people and property. Officials noted that large public gatherings could be targets for terrorists, and protests could be used for anti-state aims.

Analysts say the delay raises questions about test logistics and security. Students and families are urged to stay updated through official channels for the new date and arrangements.

The move shows how security concerns can affect exams and public events. If the situation stabilizes, a new date will likely be set quickly; otherwise, there could be further disruptions. Watch for official announcements and guidance for affected students.
