The Punjab government has once again revised the recruitment schedule for School Teaching Interns (STIs), extending the application deadline for the second time. According to the Education Department, aspiring candidates now have until November 26, 2025, to submit their online applications.

Under the updated timeline, the merit lists of applicants will be displayed on school notice boards on December 1, 2025. A tehsil-level committee will address any complaints or objections raised by candidates on December 2 and 3, 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will appear for interviews on December 4, 2025, after which the final merit list will be uploaded to the official portal and displayed on school notice boards on December 5, 2025, at 10 AM.

The Education Department has urged applicants to closely follow the revised schedule and prepare accordingly. Authorities also emphasized the importance of checking the official portal and school notice boards for any updates or notifications regarding the recruitment process.

This extension provides additional time for prospective candidates to complete their applications and ensure all required documents are submitted correctly. The department stressed that no applications will be accepted beyond the new deadline and encouraged applicants to take advantage of this opportunity to secure a place in the School Teaching Intern program.

The STI recruitment initiative aims to strengthen teaching capacity in Punjab’s schools by providing young graduates with practical classroom experience, preparing them for future roles in education, and enhancing overall educational standards across the province.
