The Punjab government has started installing advanced laboratories where students will learn Artificial Intelligence and robotics through practical activities instead of relying only on textbooks.
According to the officials, Students in Punjab’s government schools will no longer be limited to traditional textbooks; instead, they will also receive practical training in building robots, programming, and artificial intelligence.
This step will expose students to skills such as building robots, programming, and understanding AI tools.
It follows a pilot project that was tested in selected schools and proved successful enough to expand across the province.
According to the Punjab Education Department, these labs are expected to boost students’ creativity, improve problem-solving skills, and help them understand how modern technology works in real life.
