According to an official announcement, the Lahore board has uploaded the complete Smart Syllabus on its official website, allowing students and teachers to download it directly for preparation. The revised syllabus aims to streamline learning outcomes and make exam preparation more focused and efficient for students.
Under the new academic policy, Class 9 exams in 2026 will be conducted entirely according to this Smart Syllabus, which has been carefully designed to reduce academic load while maintaining essential learning standards. The initiative comes as part of the education board’s broader effort to modernize assessment methods and make the curriculum more student-friendly.
Education experts believe the introduction of the Smart Syllabus will help students focus on key topics, especially after years of disruptions to traditional learning due to online and hybrid education trends. Teachers have been advised to align their lesson plans and classroom instruction with the updated content available on the board’s portal.
