During the ceremony, PM Shehbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the Autism Center of Excellence in Islamabad, promising quality care, training, and faster services for children with special needs.
The prime minister announced the provision of 15 vehicles for the center’s operations and directed authorities to complete the project within one year instead of two, ensuring quicker services for families.

Highlighting the talents of special children, Shehbaz Sharif praised examples of children creating musical compositions and spreading awareness nationwide through performances, emphasizing that proper support unleashes their full potential.
He stated, “Special children are the children of our nation. Their development is a collective responsibility, and those who support this cause will be rewarded in both this world and the hereafter.”
The center will provide quality care, professional guidance, and equal opportunities, strengthening support for families and contributing to national efforts for inclusive education and training.
