The initiative will begin in Islamabad on October 30, 2025, marking a major milestone in the nationwide effort to promote digital education among students.
According to an official post shared on social media, “The wait is almost over! Get ready for the grand distribution beginning in Islamabad on October 30, 2025. Our team will soon reach your region as well.”
This announcement signals the start of the nationwide rollout of the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme, aimed at providing students with digital tools to support their education and skill development.
The program is designed to enhance digital literacy, improve access to technology, and empower university students across Pakistan.
After the inaugural ceremony in Islamabad, the campaign will expand to other regions, ensuring that students from all provinces benefit equally. Thousands of students, both male and female, are expected to receive laptops in the first phase.

Officials confirmed that a complete schedule and region wise distribution plan will be released soon. Senior government representatives will participate in the inauguration ceremony, where students from various universities will also be invited to attend.
