Dil Daraz Khan, an inmate of Bannu Jail, participated in the Bannu Education Board as a private candidate and secured third position in the board by scoring 1005 marks out of 1200. This remarkable achievement surprised not only the prison administration but also the educational circles.

Dil Daraz Khan is currently serving a sentence in a murder case and is imprisoned in Bannu Central Jail. Dil Daraz Khan s success is an example of how, even despite imprisonment, positive changes can be brought about in one s life through hard work, determination, and education.
In the Bannu Education Board, Lakki Marwat School and Cadet College Razmak stood out, while no government or private school in the district could achieve a prominent position.
Praising Dil Daraz Khan s success, various social circles said that this is a positive result of the reformed prison system and that the government should further increase educational opportunities for prisoners so that they can achieve a respectable position in society.
