According to details, Punjab Schools Secretary Khalid Nazir Wattoo said that schools would remain closed during winter holidays for 20 days.
In a separate move, the Lahore High Court (LHC) directed the school administration to initiate pick and drop service for school children to prevent them from hazardous smog impacts.
In a three-page written order, LHC judge Justice Shahid Karim issued the directives.
