CSS 2024 final result announced: Only 387 candidates qualify

(Web Desk): The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the Central Superior Services (CSS) 2024 final results.

CSS 2024 final result revealed that only 387 candidates have successfully cleared all stages of Pakistan’s most prestigious competitive examination.

According to official data released by the FPSC, a total of 15,602 candidates appeared in the written portion of the CSS 2024 exam. Out of these, 397 candidates managed to pass the written stage. Following the Viva Voce (interview) phase, the number of successful candidates was finalized at 387, including 207 male and 180 female aspirants.

The overall success rate is recorded 2.48 percent, highlighting the extreme competitiveness and rigorous nature of the CSS examination, which serves as the gateway to Pakistan’s elite civil bureaucracy.

Of the total qualifiers, 229 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various federal government departments and services, comprising 119 men and 110 women.

The FPSC confirmed that the remaining successful candidates od CSS 2024, though not immediately allocated, remain eligible for future appointments depending on vacancies.

With this announcement, the CSS 2024 recruitment process officially concludes, and the newly selected officers will soon commence their Common Training Program (CTP) at the Civil Services Academy (CSA) in Lahore. The FPSC is expected to release detailed group allocations and merit lists in the coming days.
