LAHORE (Web Desk): For the first time, Grade 8 Board Exams in Punjab will be conducted using e-sheets, ensuring faster results and complete transparency in marking.

Around one million students will take part in the Grade 8 Board Exams, marking a historic digital shift in the province’s education system. E-sheets will allow answer sheets to be scanned and checked digitally, reducing errors and speeding up result announcements.

Pakistan Post will deliver the question papers to all districts, and the respective District CEOs of Education will collect the completed e-sheets. This step ensures smooth logistics for the Grade 8 Board Exams.

The exams will begin on March 9, with results expected on April 9. Only four subjects Urdu, Science, English, and Mathematics—will be assessed through the e-sheets, while other subjects will be evaluated internally by schools.
