The Punjab Special Education Department has announced new Punjab STI jobs 2026 for candidates seeking temporary teaching opportunities.
A total of 74 STI jobs are available in special education institutions across Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang and Murree.
The new Punjab jobs include teaching and specialist positions based on the requirements of individual institutions.
Candidates interested in the Special Education jobs can submit their applications until October 27, 2026.
District-wise vacancies
Attock has the highest number of vacancies, with 32 positions available.
Jhelum has 10 vacancies, while Chakwal and Talagang have a combined 24 positions.
Murree has eight vacancies.
The Punjab STI jobs 2026 are therefore spread across five areas of Rawalpindi Division, giving applicants several locations to consider.
The department has invited candidates who meet the required qualifications for the available posts.
Available teaching positions
The STI jobs include Junior and Senior Special Education Teacher positions.
The Special Education jobs cover different areas, including education for students with hearing impairments, visual impairments, mental disabilities and physical disabilities.

Salary and honorarium
Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium according to the level of their position.
BS-16 positions will carry a monthly payment of Rs40,000, while BS-17 positions will offer Rs45,000.
The Punjab jobs are temporary and appointments will be made according to the requirements of the Special Education Department.

Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the Punjab STI jobs 2026 must have the required educational qualification for their selected position.
Most teaching posts require an MA or BS degree in Special Education along with the relevant specialization.
Applicants for Speech Therapist positions must meet the specific qualification requirements for those posts.
The general age limit is 21 to 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided under applicable government rules.
Male candidates can receive up to five years of relaxation, while female candidates may receive up to eight years. Persons with disabilities may receive up to 15 years of relaxation, subject to the relevant conditions.

Candidates applying for the STI jobs should prepare an updated CV and copies of their important documents.
These include CNIC, domicile, educational degrees and certificates, experience certificates where required, and two recent passport-size photographs.

Interview schedule
The department has announced interviews for eligible and shortlisted candidates.
Interviews for the Special Education jobs will be held in Murree on November 2, Attock on November 3, Jhelum on November 4, and Chakwal and Talagang on November 5.
All interviews will begin at 10am.
