The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has officially announced the PMS Punjab Phase One exam schedule, marking a crucial step for thousands of aspirants competing for provincial civil service posts.
According to PPSC, more than 37,000 candidates will appear in the objective-type General Knowledge paper, which serves as the first screening stage of the Provincial Management Service (PMS) examination.
Exam Centers Across Seven Divisions
The PMS Phase One exams will be conducted simultaneously across seven major divisions of Punjab, including:
- Lahore
- Faisalabad
- Rawalpindi
- Bahawalpur
- Sargodha
- Multan
- Dera Ghazi Khan
The finalized schedule has received formal approval from the PPSC Chairman, ensuring administrative readiness and uniform implementation across all centers.

Strict Exam Instructions for Candidates
PPSC has directed all supervisory and examination staff to strictly follow exam protocols. Candidates are required to bring original identification documents, which may include:
- CNIC
- Passport
- Domicile certificate
Candidates without valid original ID documents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstances.
What Comes After Phase One
Candidates who successfully clear PMS Phase One will qualify for PMS Phase Two, which consists of 11 descriptive papers, including English and other compulsory and optional subjects.
Departmental Exams Also Scheduled
In addition to PMS exams, PPSC will also conduct departmental written examinations on January 24 and 25, with approximately 50,000 candidates expected to participate across Punjab.
The announcement marks a busy examination phase for the commission, highlighting the importance of preparation and compliance with official guidelines for all candidates.
