ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): A major development has emerged in the Islamabad court suicide attack case with the arrest of a suspect.

Police sources revealed that the attacker reached the court for just Rs200. The person who helped him reach the court has been arrested.

According to sources, the attacker traveled on a motorcycle from Golra Mor to G-11 Court. An online motorcycle service rider reportedly transported him from Golra to the court for Rs200. Authorities have now started checking Safe City cameras to track how the attacker reached Golra.

Yesterday, a suicide attack occurred outside Islamabad court, killing 12 people and injuring 20 others. Victims were taken to PIMS hospital, where 13 injured are still under treatment, and one is in critical condition.

Later, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the site to review rescue operations and instructed authorities to provide the best medical care to the injured.

Speaking to the media, the minister said the attacker had planned to enter the court but, failing that, targeted a police vehicle. He also warned that anyone involved, even from another country, will not be spared. From now on, no vehicle will enter Islamabad without an e-tag in two weeks.
