In an alert, NADRA has informed the overseas Pakistanis, especially those living in the United Kingdom about the fraudulent website “NADRA Card Centre” which is functioning under its name.
According to the NADRA spokesperson, overseas Pakistanis should beware of the website Nadra.cardcentre.co.uk, which is a fake website using the name “Nadra Card Centre.” The fraudulent site is involved in deceiving and scamming overseas Pakistanis, particularly UK-based citizens.
Officials stated that the website’s claims of providing NADRA-related services such as identity card and NICOP processing, as well as job opportunities, are completely false. The website has no connection whatsoever with NADRA.
The spokesperson added that any personal information, documents, or payments made on this platform may be misused, putting overseas Pakistanis at risk. NADRA has formally lodged a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Agency for investigation and action.

It is pertinent to remember that NADRA has launched several advance facilities for providing better services to Pakistani citizens. NADRA introduces also launched the home-delivery biker service in major cities to facilitate the citizens.
Meanwhile, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will soon install self-service kiosks across Pakistan to simplify the renewal and re-issuance of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs).
NADRA also issued advisory for Pakistani citizens to cancel the CNICs of deceased family members to avoid of deceased family members to prevent misuse. The authority advised families to visit the nearest NADRA centre or use the Pak ID mobile app to update their family records.
NADRA also directed married citizens to update their marital status to avoid legal trouble.
NADRA also advised citizens to collect their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) promptly after issuance.
In the advisory, NADRA warned that identity cards remaining uncollected for more than three months are disposed of in accordance with policy. Citizens who fail to collect their CNICs must submit a new application and pay the prescribed fee to have the card reissued.
Authorities urged applicants to collect their CNICs from the NADRA office as soon as the processing period is complete to avoid inconvenience.
