Health experts say the virus can also be easily transmitted through handshakes and sharing personal items such as towels, glasses, or pillows.

Doctors have warned the public to take special care of hand hygiene and avoid touching their eyes with unwashed hands. Children in particular have been instructed to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from the virus.

It should be noted that without precautions, the virus can spread further and cause severe eye infections that can damage vision. Therefore, it is important that infected individuals immediately contact an ophthalmologist and self-isolate to prevent the spread of the virus.

Health authorities in Buner district have also paid immediate attention to this situation and have launched an awareness campaign against the virus to raise awareness among the public about preventive measures.
