Web Desk: A Pakistani doctor has developed an innovative AI chatbot designed to help people recognize early signs of skin cancer and other skin-related diseases before they become serious.

Dr Dua Khan, a Pakistani skin cancer surgeon, has introduced the new tool to improve skin cancer awareness and encourage people to seek medical advice at an early stage.

The AI-powered system provides basic information about skin conditions and helps users understand symptoms that may need professional attention.

According to Dr Khan, many people ignore small changes in their skin because of a lack of awareness. In some cases, these minor changes can develop into serious health issues if they are not identified and treated on time.

To address this problem, she created an AI chatbot for skin cancer awareness that can offer initial guidance to the public.

The chatbot focuses on common skin diseases as well as skin cancer. Users can ask questions about symptoms and receive general information that may help them decide whether they should consult a dermatologist. Dr Khan said the project took around three months to complete.

She emphasized that the chatbot is not meant to replace doctors or medical examinations. Instead, it serves as a supportive educational tool to improve skin cancer awareness and help people become more alert about potential health risks.

The development highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. Experts believe AI-based tools can improve access to information and encourage earlier diagnosis, especially in areas where medical awareness is limited.

Dr Khan hopes the chatbot will help more people learn about skin health and take timely action when unusual symptoms appear.
