Dengue cases in Sindh continued to climb as three more patients died across the province. According to the latest report, 113 new cases also tested positive, adding to the growing concern among health officials.
A spokesperson for the Sindh Directorate General of Health shared the daily dengue summary. One of the three patients who died was from Karachi, while the other two lost their lives in Hyderabad.
Alongside the deaths, private hospitals admitted 57 new dengue patients. In Karachi’s government hospitals, 44 people are currently under treatment as doctors work to manage the increasing flow of cases.

Hyderabad recorded 35 more cases, while 34 were reported from other districts of Sindh. In total, 241 dengue patients are being treated across the province, according to the spokesperson.
The report stated that 5,229 dengue tests were carried out, of which 774 came back positive. The Sindh Health Department said an emergency has been imposed in government hospitals. A total of 556 beds have been reserved for dengue patients in government facilities in Karachi, along with 220 beds in private hospitals.
In Hyderabad, 167 beds have been allocated in government hospitals, while private hospitals in the city have set aside 207 beds for dengue patients.
The rising number of cases shows how quickly dengue can spread. The deaths have created new worry among families. Hospitals are preparing more beds because patient numbers are increasing every day. The report also highlights the need for awareness and early testing to control the outbreak.
