(Web Desk): Princess Diana’s wax statue in her iconic “revenge dress” has been unveiled at the Grevin Museum in Paris, stirring emotion and nostalgia.

In a dramatic return to the city where she met her tragic end, Princess Diana has been immortalized in wax at Paris’s Grevin Museum, donning the legendary “revenge dress” that symbolizes her strength.
The life-size figure, crafted by sculptor Laurent Mallamaci, wears a replica of the black, off-shoulder, figure-hugging cocktail dress Diana famously sported to a Serpentine Gallery event in 1994, the same night Prince Charles publicly admitted to infidelity.
Museum officials revealed the director commissioned the statue after being unimpressed with Diana’s likeness at London’s Madame Tussauds. The unveiling, on 20 November 2025, marks the 30th anniversary of her explosive BBC “Panorama” interview.

Placed under the Grevin dome, Diana now stands alongside icons of fashion and history like Jean Paul Gaultier and Marie Antoinette but is notably positions apart from the wax figures of her ex-husband and mother-in-law.
With heels, a pearl choker and a small handbag clasped in her hands, the wax figure captures a moment of reclaimed power reminding Parisians and visitors alike of Diana’s timeless legacy.
