The actress Mishi Khan was seen in tears while discussing reports about his eye condition. Mishi Khan said it is extremely painful that someone’s eye could be damaged due to negligence.
She stated that despite repeated complaints, Imran Khan was not provided proper medical treatment in time.
She said losing 85% vision is not a small matter. According to her, for three months he kept asking jail authorities for an eye check-up, but no serious action was taken. She also expressed sadness that the public was not informed earlier about the seriousness of his eye problem.

It is important to note that “friend of the court” Barrister Salman Safdar submitted a detailed report to the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding Imran Khan’s health and the facilities provided in jail.
According to the report, treatment started after the sudden and complete loss of vision in his right eye. He was shifted to the hospital and given injections, but according to him, only 10 to 15% vision remains in that eye.
The report submitted to the Supreme Court stated that until October 2025, his eyesight was 6/6. After that, he began experiencing blurred vision in his right eye. He repeatedly complained to the superintendent of Adiala jail, but for three months, no proper treatment was arranged.

The report further mentioned that timely medical facilities were not provided in jail. A blood clot in the eye caused serious damage. During the meeting, it was observed that his eye was watery. Even after treatment at PIMS hospital, only 15% vision remains in his right eye.
PTI leaders have strongly criticized the authorities over the matter, calling it negligence. The issue has once again raised debate about the medical facilities provided to prisoners.
