Dua Lipa reveals secret that made her wedding magical
Dua Lipa has opened up about the moments that made her wedding with actor Callum Turner so memorable.
The singer, 31, shared details about the celebrations during a recent interview with Vogue Italia.
The couple first became legally married in a private civil ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall on May 31, 2026. They later continued their celebrations with a three-day wedding event in Sicily.
The advice behind their special day
Lipa said the wedding was “magical” and revealed that she and Turner received plenty of advice before their big day.
However, they decided to follow two important pieces of advice.
"The wedding day was magical. We received so much advice, but we decided to follow just two pieces of it: to experience the day as if we were guests ourselves and to constantly seek each other out in the crowd, never losing sight of one another. That way, we really have so many memories together."
The singer explained that this helped them enjoy the celebration instead of becoming overwhelmed by everything happening around them.
They kept checking on each other
Lipa said she and Turner made a conscious effort to stay connected throughout the celebrations.
With so many guests around them, the couple did not want to spend the day separately.

"The other was for Callum and me to keep checking in with each other so we didn't lose each other in the crowd. As a result, we spent loads of time together and created so many amazing memories."
The approach allowed them to experience their wedding as a couple rather than getting caught up in the pressure of hosting a huge event.
A wedding beyond perfection
Lipa also explained that some guests helped make the day easier for both of them.
Instead of feeling pressured to make everything perfect, the couple were able to relax and enjoy themselves.
Their celebrations also attracted several famous names, adding to the excitement surrounding the wedding.
The couple’s London ceremony was intentionally private, while their later Italian celebrations were much more elaborate.
Lipa’s advice for future couples
Lipa’s comments offer a simple lesson for couples planning their own weddings.
Rather than worrying about every small detail, she believes couples should focus on experiencing the moment together.
Her advice is to enjoy the day like a guest and keep looking for your partner in the crowd.
For Lipa and Turner, that approach helped them create memories they could share long after the celebrations ended.
