The film’s release is planned to take place during the Dussehra celebrations. With anticipation growing the trailer for the film is scheduled to drop on September 26. The teaser trailer has been unveiled offering a sneak peek into the movies storyline and stirring up excitement among fans, Indian media reported.

Earlier, the stars sparked excitement on Instagram by posting photos of themselves with flowers hinting at the upcoming trailer. Their caption referred to the iconic song Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka which holds significance in the film.

They wrote in the message, "Phoolon ka taaro ka, sabka kehna hai #JigraTrailer ab jald hi aa raha hai (Flowers and stars, everyone is saying that the #JigraTrailer is coming soon). #Jigra in cinemas 11 October.”

It was further reported that the movie is an action-packed thriller cantered around a daring prison escape. Directed by Vasan Bala and penned by Debashish Irengbam and Bala the plot revolves around Satya, portrayed by Alia Bhatt as she goes to measures to safeguard her brother Ankur played by Vedang Raina. The movie also stars Manoj Pahwa in a role.

The media reports revealed that the soundtrack of the film is already creating a buzz with the impactful song Chal Kudiye marking the reunion of Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh. This track composed by Manpreet Singh and written by Harmanjeet Singh features the vocals of Alia and Diljit. Moreover, a revamped rendition of Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka was included in the teaser of the movie, sung by Vedang Raina.
