Momina Iqbal allegedly asked for Rs110m to settle dispute
Saqib Chadder made the claim while speaking to host Hina Niazi on the Suno News programme “Suno To Sahi”. He alleged that Momina Iqbal, through her lawyer Adnan Ahsan, initially sought Rs200 million to settle the matter.
According to Chadder, the alleged demand was later reduced by Rs90 million, bringing the amount to Rs110 million. He questioned why such a large amount would be sought if the intention was to resolve the dispute.
He further said that if this amount was being demanded for a settlement, it should be decided who was actually trying to pressure or blackmail the other side.
These claims have not been independently verified, and no conclusion about either party’s responsibility can be drawn at this stage.
NCCIA collects digital evidence
The dispute has also entered a new phase following developments in an investigation by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
According to sources, investigators have collected digital evidence connected to both parties. Based on the material gathered so far, notices have reportedly been issued to Momina Iqbal and Saqib Chadder.
Sources said the digital material includes a video that had previously circulated on social media. Investigators are also examining other data that was allegedly not provided by the two parties during the course of the inquiry.
The agency’s position, according to sources, is that both parties should have provided relevant digital evidence directly to investigators. The material is now being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.
The development means the dispute is no longer limited to allegations exchanged between the two sides. Digital records and other material are now expected to play an important role in determining what happened.
Both parties to face further questioning
Sources said the NCCIA has issued a 10-day notice to both parties and they are expected to appear before investigators.
The two will reportedly be questioned separately about the digital evidence collected during the investigation. They may also be given questionnaires covering different aspects of the case.
Investigators are expected to ask questions about the video that circulated online and other digital information. They will also seek explanations about why certain material was allegedly not handed over to the agency earlier.
The investigation will also include questions about data obtained from mobile phones through forensic examination. Such material could help investigators establish the sequence of events and determine whether the available digital evidence supports claims made by either side.
At this stage, however, the investigation remains ongoing. The issuance of notices does not mean that either party has been found guilty of any wrongdoing.

No immediate arrests sought
The NCCIA has also informed the court that it is not currently seeking the arrest of either party.
According to investigating officials, not seeking an immediate arrest is part of the investigative process. In some cases, authorities first collect and examine evidence before deciding whether further legal action is necessary.
The approach indicates that investigators are currently focused on gathering information and questioning both sides rather than making an immediate move toward arrests.
Once the questioning process is completed, investigators are expected to review the digital material and other evidence collected during the inquiry.
The investigation will then be completed and a report will reportedly be submitted to the Director General of the NCCIA.
