After the Pahalgam incident, India had imposed a complete ban on prominent Pakistani YouTube channels and Pakistani actors social media accounts.
According to this policy, India had banned access to some very popular Pakistani entertainment channels on YouTube, such as ARY Digital, Har Pal Geo, and Hum TV.
India had also suspended the release of any project with Pakistani actors, such as Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir. Nevertheless, in spite of these restrictions, Hania Aamir s movie did premiere successfully around the world — with India being the sole exception.
In a turnaround policy move, India has now revoked the ban on Pakistani YouTube channels, reinstating access for Indian viewers.
It is important to mention here that while the ban witnessed a decrease in viewership of Pakistani dramas, blockbuster serials such as Mann Mast Malang, Sher, Dayan, and Parwarish still attracted great interest from Indian audience.

The latest action of the Indian government is now gaining a positive response globally, while there is great happiness expressed by many Indian viewers.
Numerous fans have embraced the move, sharing their views on social media. A fan said, "Even if the ban is removed, we should not be too hopeful. The Pakistani industry must work on making better content."
Danish Taimoor s fans, especially, are excited over the news. His dramas Sher and Mann Mast Malang ran well even during the ban, and now fans expect even greater viewership. "Sher will roar louder now," one of the users wrote excitedly. Another said, "Sher will soon join the one billion club and surpass Tere Bin s record."
