During a podcast hosted by Bushran Khan on YouTube channel, Naeem Hanif apologises to Saba Qamar, admitting that a video uploaded in November contained false allegations about the actor’s personal life, including claims of a live-in relationship in Lahore.
He stated, “I verified that news later, and it wasn’t correct. It was contrary to the truth, which hurt her sentiments and tarnished her character. We are sorry for this and the hurt it caused.” This marked a significant step in addressing the Saba Qamar defamation claims.
The legal notice sent by Saba Qamar defamation requested the journalist to remove the content, issue a public apology, refrain from further statements, and pay Rs100,000,000 in damages.
Following the apology, Qamar shared it on Instagram, captioning it “Speechless,” acknowledging Naeem Hanif apologises to Saba Qamar.

The November 1 podcast video has since been removed from the channel, ending the Saba Qamar defamation scandal and highlighting the importance of accountability in media reporting.
While, many other actors have also shared it on their Instagram stories supporting Saba Qamar, and appreciates the move taken by Saba Qamar to address the issue.
