Famous speaker Sahil Adeem and Khalilur Rahman Qamar were guests on the private TV show during which a girl named Azbaha Abdullah demanded an apology from Sahil Adeem for calling 95 percent of women ignorant, saying: “If women are ignorant, it is because of our society.”

In response to the girl’s remarks, Sahil Adeem asked the girl, “Before today, had you heard the word Taghut which is the biggest sin in Islam?”

The girl responded, “Women’s rights are being discussed here and for calling women ignorant. We are not discussing sins in Islam.”

However, Sahil Adeem stood by his word and said, “One who does not know is called ignorant, and calling an ignorant person ignorant is the first duty in Islam.”

When the girl asked Sahil Adim to give a reference to his statement, Sahil Adeem quoted a hadith and said, “In Islam, the one who knows and the one who does not know are not equal. One is like a blind person and the other is one with vision. The blind will fall into the pit.”

Sahil Adeem, turning the conversation towards the girl, said: “A girl sitting in Lahore in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was asked to tell the biggest sin of Islam, and she said, ‘I have heard it for the first time.’ This is called ignorance.”

The girl remained adamant and kept asking Sahil Adeem to apologize for what he said about women and answer her question.

In response, Sahil Adeem said to the girl: “I apologize to you that my (this) girl is ignorant. It is my fault that my girl is ignorant. I apologize to the nation that she heard the word Taghut for the first time in her life.”

The girl again objected to Sahil Adeem, saying: “Instead of answering my question, you are reciting verses to me in Arabic.”

Co-guest Khalilur Rehman Qamar joined the discussion and admonished the girl. He said to her, “Arabic verses are also bothering you now. What is your way of talking?”

When the girl answered again, Khalilur Rehman Qamar told her not to be rude and asked the TV show host to take the mic from the girl.

The video of Sahil Udeem and Khalilur Rehman Qamar has gone viral on social media, and social media users have praised the woman for talking about women.

They have also criticized Sahil Adeem and especially Khalilur Rehman Qamar for behaving rudely.
