New case filed against YouTuber Rajab Butt over assault, blackmail charges

LAHORE: (Web Desk) A fresh case has been registered against famous YouTuber Rajab Butt, involving allegations of sexual assault and blackmail.

According to details, the FIR was lodged at Lahore’s Nawab Town police station on the complaint of social media activist Ayesha Sharafat.

Police stated that, along with Rajab Butt, his close associates — Maan Dogar, Jawad Haider, Jahangir Butt, and Salman Haider — have also been named in the report.

The FIR alleges that after a social media friendship, Ayesha was drugged and assaulted. During the ordeal, an explicit video was reportedly recorded, which was later used to blackmail her.

The victim claimed she was threatened with the release of the videos and was pressured into staying silent.

Police have launched an investigation and raids to arrest the accused. Officials described the matter as extremely sensitive and confirmed that full legal action would be taken.

As of now, Rajab Butt and his associates have not issued any public response.

Meanwhile, the case has gone viral across social media platforms, sparking widespread outrage and calls for justice.
