In a recent interview on Suno To Sahi at Suno News, Humaira voiced her disappointment, saying that ‘Pakistan Idol’ has repeatedly appointed judges who lack proper musical knowledge and experience.
“This isn’t the first time,” she remarked. “Every season, they bring in people with no background in music. Instead of turning down such roles, these celebrities accept them without hesitation. They should actually urge the producers to choose judges who truly understand music.”
‘Pakistan Idol’, Pakistan’s version of the global Idol franchise, first aired in 2014 and has now returned with its second season in 2025. Produced by 19 Entertainment, the show currently features Fawad Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bilal Maqsood, and Zeb Bangash as judges.

Humaira’s remarks have reignited debate about credibility and fairness in Pakistan’s entertainment industry. Many viewers have also questioned the inclusion of non-musicians, particularly Fawad Khan, on the judging panel.
