(Web Desk): Senior actress Ghazala Javed has spoken out with strong emotions, blaming the mother of the late TV star Humaira Asghar for not being there when her daughter needed her most.

In a recent TV interview, Ghazala Javed didn’t hold back her feelings. She criticized Humaira Asghar’s mother for her comments blaming the people of Karachi for her daughter’s struggles, instead of taking responsibility as a parent.

“Before pointing fingers at a city, ask yourself what kind of mother are you?” Ghazala asked emotionally.

Humaira Asghar, a well-known actress in Pakistani dramas, passed away over a year ago. Ghazala Javed revealed that Humaira’s mother didn’t even know her daughter had died not just recently, but two Eids ago.

Humaira had reportedly been living all by herself for nearly seven years. She had no car or house but lived a quiet, self-respecting life. Ghazala praised her, saying:

“She never used drugs, never had scandals, and lived with dignity. If she were my daughter, I’d be proud of her.”

As a mother herself, Ghazala couldn’t understand how a parent could be so distant. She said, “Even if my married daughter gets sick, I can’t sleep. That’s what real motherhood feels like.”

She expressed deep sadness over Humaira’s lonely life and added that the worst pain in the world is when a brave child doesn’t have the love and support of her mother.

Her statements reveal a cultural wound the silent suffering of public figures who live alone, without support, despite their fame. Humaira’s life, as described by Ghazala, was one of dignity but also deep loneliness.
