(Web Desk): Kseniya Alexandrova accident tragically claimed the life of the 30-year-old Miss Universe star after an elk crashed into her car in Russia.

A tragic accident took the life of Kseniya Alexandrova, a 30-year-old former Miss Russia and Miss Universe contestant, after a wild elk crashed through the windshield of her car earlier this month.

The incident happened on July 5, while Kseniya and her husband were driving a Porsche Panamera through a forested area in Tver Oblast, a region northwest of Moscow.

According to reports from Russian news sources, the couple was traveling at normal speed when a large elk suddenly jumped onto the road.

The animal smashed through the car’s windshield, hitting Kseniya, who was sitting in the passenger seat.

She suffered severe brain injuries from the impact and was taken to the hospital right away.

Kseniya died on Friday, August 16, after spending almost two weeks in a coma. Her husband is reportedly on the mend after surviving the accident.

After winning the title of Vice-Miss Russia in 2017, Kseniya Alexandrova went on to compete for her nation in the Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas that same year.

She was well-known for her grace, beauty, and public appearances at fashion and modeling events.

This terrible incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with wildlife collisions, particularly in rural or wooded areas such as Tver Oblast.

Large animals like elk can seriously harm cars, including high-end models like Porsches, when they collide with them.

While rare, such incidents are not unheard of in areas where wildlife roams close to highways.

This serves as a sad reminder of road safety, particularly in regions with known animal crossing zones.

The loss of Kseniya is significant for the Russian modeling and fashion industries. Her ascent from Vice-Miss Russia to the Miss Universe stage demonstrated her grace and global potential.

Authorities have not disclosed any charges or faults, characterizing the crash as a freak accident and a tragic end to a promising life.
