While talking to a private TV channel, the well-known TV anchor said she is going to file a case in the court soon to divorce her husband, for it is no longer possible to live with her husband.
She said she will also approach the court soon for the custody of the children.
It was reported that Ayesha Jahanzeb on Friday (July 19) reconciled with her husband a few days after getting a domestic violence case registered against him.
She, along with her lawyer Asim Mumtaz, submitted an affidavit to a sessions court in Lahore about her reconciliation with her husband.
The court asked Ayesha Jahanzeb whether she came to the court of her own free will to which she replied she accepted whatever the elders decided.
She told the court she did not want to pursue the case and the decision was taken in the presence of witnesses.
On the occasion, the court pointed out that such cruelty should not be done to a woman, but due to the reconciliation, the matter was approved to the extent of bail while the acquittal would be decided on the challan.
It is to be noted here that the Cantt court sent the accused Haris Ali to jail on judicial remand. A case was registered against him by Sarwar Road police.
