Nora Fatehi faces Rs3 million fine over viral aircraft comments
Actress Nora Fatehi has now become involved in a legal dispute over her alleged comments on social media against Dunes Aviation one of India’s chartered plane companies.
The Dunes Aviation has reached to a local court in Gandhinagar, claiming that the comments of Nora Fatehi have damaged their reputation and business as well.
The Nora Fatehi defamation case is linked to the video she recorded and shared during her flight from Mumbai to Jaipur in December, 2025.
Comments about the aircraft
According to the aviation company, Nora Fatehi recorded the shared video inside Cessna Citation CJ2 aircraft after the flight ended.
She allegedly described the aircraft as a “lego airplane” and compared it to a miniature toy.
The aviation company Dunes Aviation has argued that the remarks has negative impact on the company’s business and reputation while, Nora Fatehi made the comments were irresponsible and she also did not had any proper technical knowledge.
Company claims bookings fell
Nora Fatehi has 46 million Instagram following and her comments against the company were seen widely and has caused decrease of booking from 15-20%.
The Dunes Aviation also said that the cancelations took place after Nora Fatehi viral aircraft comments goes viral.

Dunes Aviation maintains that the aircraft was properly certified by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation and was operating under a valid Non-Scheduled Operator Permit.
What the company wants from court
The aviation company filed the case against Nora Fatehi in April 2026.
The company want an order from court about removal of Nora Fatehi viral aircraft comments and posts from her Instagram.
The company has also asked for a public clarification from the actress regarding viral remarks.
The Dunes Aviation lawsuit is expected to come before Senior Civil Judge R. Agarwal on September 25.
The chartered aircraft controversy has now moved beyond social media and into the courtroom.
Nora Fatehi has not responded
So far, Nora Fatehi has not issued a formal response to the allegations.
The Nora Fatehi social media comments remain at the centre of the dispute, but the claims made by Dunes Aviation have yet to be finally decided by the court.
The Nora Fatehi lawsuit will now move forward through the legal process.
