(Web Desk): Legendary singer Asha Bhosle is recovering after being admitted to a Mumbai hospital due to exhaustion and a chest infection.

Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday evening, sparking concern among fans worldwide. Initial reports suggested that the 92-year-old icon had suffered a cardiac arrest. However, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle later clarified that she was hospitalised due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection.

According to sources close to the family, the veteran singer’s condition has improved and she is currently recovering under medical supervision. Hospital authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding her health status.

On Sunday, Narendra Modi expressed concern and wished the singer a speedy recovery. In a message shared on social media platform X, he said he was deeply concerned and prayed for her good health.

Zanai Bhosle also requested privacy for the family, stating that treatment is ongoing and expressing hope for a positive update soon. The singer is currently being treated in the hospital’s emergency unit.
