Gold rate falls sharply in Pakistan as global prices slide
Gold prices fall across Pakistan
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the gold rate Pakistan decreased by Rs3,700 per tola.
After the latest decline, one tola of gold is now priced at Rs426,736, while the Pakistan gold price continues to follow changes in the international bullion market.
The association also reported a fall in the price of 10 grams of gold, which dropped by Rs3,202 to Rs365,857.
The latest reduction comes only a day after gold price today had moved higher in the local market.
Yesterday’s increase erased
On Friday, the gold rate today had increased by Rs3,000, taking the price of one tola to Rs430,436.
However, the fresh decline has erased that gain and pushed prices lower once again.
Market experts say the Pakistan gold price continues to fluctuate because of changing international market conditions, investor demand and currency movements.
Jewellers believe buyers should continue monitoring daily price changes before making expensive purchases.

International gold prices also decline
The drop in the gold rate Pakistan followed a decline in global bullion prices.
In the international market, gold lost $37 per ounce during the final trading session of the week.
After the decline, the international gold price settled at $4,043 per ounce.
Analysts said international movements often have a direct impact on the gold per tola Pakistan, as local prices are closely linked with global trends.
Financial experts noted that global uncertainty, investor confidence and central bank policies remain key factors affecting precious metal prices.
Silver prices move lower
Silver prices also recorded a noticeable decline.
According to the association, silver became cheaper by Rs57 per tola.
After the latest adjustment, one tola of silver is now available at Rs6,237.
Jewellers said both gold and silver prices are changing frequently because of uncertainty in international commodity markets.
What is affecting gold prices?
Experts say several factors influence the gold rate today every day.
International gold prices, exchange rates, inflation expectations and investment demand all play an important role in determining the Pakistan gold price.
When global prices decline, the gold per tola Pakistan usually follows the same direction unless local market conditions create additional pressure.
Analysts added that investors often move between gold and other financial assets depending on economic conditions around the world.
