Gold jumps Rs4,600 per tola in Pakistan
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,600 per tola, taking the new rate to Rs433,836.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs3,944, reaching Rs371,944, reflecting the continued upward trend in the local bullion market.
Silver prices also edged higher, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs7 to Rs6,403.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $46 per ounce, pushing the global rate to $4,114 per ounce. The surge in international bullion prices was the main factor behind the sharp increase in domestic gold rates.

Jewellers said the local gold market continues to follow international price trends, making the precious metal more expensive for buyers across the country.
The latest increase has pushed gold prices to a new record high, adding to concerns for consumers planning to buy jewellery or invest in gold.
