Gold prices witness hike in local, int’l markets

KARACHI: (Web Desk) Gold prices have witnessed a rise in the local and international markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems Merchants and Jewellers Association (APGMJA), the price of 24-karat gold has increased by Rs1,000 to RsRs251,000 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs857 to Rs215,192 per tola.
In the international market, the gold price has increased by $2 to $2,382 per ounce.
On July 18, gold prices reached a historic high after witnessing a significant increase in the local market.
According to the APGMJA, the gold price rose by Rs4,600 to Rs254,000 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,944 to Rs217,764.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $60 to $2,450 per ounce.
