With the start of 2025, a continuous increase in gold prices has been observed.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market rose by $11, reaching $2635.
An increase in gold prices has also been recorded in local gold markets. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,100, reaching Rs274,700. Similarly, the price of 10-gram of gold also increased by Rs943, reaching Rs235,511.
However, there has been no change in silver prices. The price of silver per tola remained stable at 3,350 rupees, and the price of 10 grams of silver remained at 2,872 rupees.
Experts say that the increase in gold prices is due to the global economic situation and investor trends, and these rising prices are making gold an even more popular choice as a safe investment.
