PIA reduces fares by 30pc for only five days

KARACHI: (Suno News) The national flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a massive reduction in fares for Umrah pilgrims as well as Saudi work and residence visa holders.
As the airline has cut the fares by 30 per cent, passengers travelling to Jeddah and Madinah will benefit from the reduced fares from April 7 to April 11, 2024. In addition, passengers heading to Riyadh and Dammam will also enjoy discounted fares until April 11.
For Umrah pilgrims, the PIA has lowered fares by up to 20pc applicable during the specified dates.
It has reduced the fares for economy class by up to Rs50,000, making air travel more accessible and affordable for passengers.
Umrah pilgrims travelling from the south region, including Karachi, will have to pay Rs95,400. Those travelling from the North region, including Lahore, will end up paying an economy class fare of Rs103,680.
