Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Sardar Tahir Mehmood said, “Pakistan and Kuwait, bound by historic ties of friendship and mutual support, are taking another major step toward boosting their economic relationship through this Expo.”
Speaking to a visiting delegation from the Expo’s organizing committee, he noted that economic relations between both nations have consistently grown due to decades of trust and cooperation. He added that Kuwait has always supported Pakistan in difficult times, and both countries have signed several agreements in defense, investment, and health sectors.
Tahir Mehmood urged business communities from both sides to explore joint ventures and partnerships to unlock trade and investment potential. He expressed confidence that the Expo would serve as a catalyst for trade diversification, industrial collaboration, and long-term economic growth.

Head of the Kuwaiti delegation, Muhammad Saleem Ansari, along with Dr. S. Sam, highlighted that the Expo would offer a world-class platform for Pakistani entrepreneurs to showcase their skills and expand into Gulf markets. They said the initiative aims to promote trade, investment, and partnerships that would bring mutual prosperity to both nations.
In his concluding remarks, ICCI Senior Vice President Tahir Ayub reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening bilateral trade relations. He assured full support in promoting the event through ICCI’s extensive business network and termed the Expo a golden opportunity for Pakistani investors to build lasting linkages with Kuwaiti counterparts and regional markets.
The Expo reflects growing optimism in Pakistan’s economic diplomacy. By connecting local businesses with Gulf investors, it could open new export avenues and attract valuable foreign partnerships.
