
According to APP, the PBF officials noted that India exported about $500 million worth of goods to Pakistan between April 2024 and January 2025, while imports from India were only $0.42 million.
They also pointed out that Indian goods passing through Pakistan en route to Afghanistan, estimated at $640 million annually, would be severely disrupted, further exacerbating India s trade losses.
The forum has expressed full support for government measures designed to counter India s provocations, calling for a unified national response to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty.
PBF President Khawaja Mehboob Ur Rehman stated that the business community strongly backs Pakistan’s armed forces, emphasising that India’s routine accusations against Pakistan every few years are no longer tolerable.

“It has become their pattern to remain silent for years and then suddenly start blaming Pakistan again," he said. "We have shown enough patience.”
Senior Vice President Amna Munawwar Awan described India’s accusations following the Pahalgam attack as "absurd lies," suggesting that the attack was a failed attempt to obscure human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
Chief Organiser Ahmad Jawad called for a complete halt to trade relations with India until issues are resolved on the basis of "mutual respect and equality." He accused India of sabotaging regional economic integration and peace efforts.
The forum also condemned India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, labeling the decision as "ridiculous and harmful" to South Asia s stability.
