The Finance Ministry has approved the proposal to grant the allowance to the federal employees in the budget of the fiscal year 2025-2026.

The allowance will be given to federal secretariat employees who were previously receiving 40 percent, 25 percent, and 15 percent disparity allowances. Employees receiving special allowances equal to basic salary or special pay will not be eligible for the 30% disparity allowance.

The Ministry of Finance has refused to immediately provide the 30% disparity allowance to federal employees and has approved the allowance to be included in the 2025-2026 budget.
