PESHAWAR (Web Desk): Women can get Rs30,000 monthly stipend under a new digital internship program launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has started a digital internship program for women. Under this initiative, selected candidates will receive Rs30,000 per month for six months. The aim is to give women hands-on experience in modern digital and technology fields.

According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, the program will provide paid internships for six months. It is designed to help women build practical skills and prepare for professional careers in the digital economy.

Interns will gain experience in important fields such as artificial intelligence, UI, UX, web development, application development, graphic designing and digital marketing. During the six-month period, each selected woman will receive a monthly stipend of Rs30,000.

Under the program, interns will be placed in IT Park companies, the Digital Transformation Unit and at the headquarters of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board. This will allow them to work directly with industry professionals and understand real market needs.

Officials say the main goal is to increase women’s participation in the digital economy, improve their technical skills and open new career paths in emerging technology sectors.

Interested female candidates can submit their applications through the official portal joinit.kp.gov.pk/list/jobs. The last date to apply is 13 March 2026.
