Steep charges now apply for ATM withdrawals at other banks

(Web Desk): Banks have raised the per transaction fee from Rs23.44 to Rs35.00 for those who withdraw from banks other than their accounts host banks.
At non-host ATMs, customers will be charged Rs35 for per transactions.
The schedule of charges has been changed at mostly all banks and they have increased their cash withdrawel charges via ATMS from users of different banks.

It is important to note that the government has raised the cash withdrawal limit from Rs50,000 to 75,000 and not to mention that the tax percentage for non-filers withdrawing from banks has been increased to 0.8 per cent; previously it was only 0.6 per cent.
As per usual 1-Link switch will get the bigger share whereas banks that own the ATMs will get the smaller share that is used by other bank customers to make cash withdrawels.
